Introduction to Metric Spaces

Lecture 4: Compact Metric Spaces

We prove four concepts of compactness are equivalent in this lecture. We use the Lebesgue Number Lemma, Cantor’s Intersection Theorem, Cauchy completeness, and totally bounded sets to do so.
